DISTRICT GOVERNOR OFFICIAL VISIT – District Governor Official visit was conducted on 9th March 2024 at MEI Polytechnic College, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. Lion Suresh Ramu, pmjf District Governor was invited and conducted Special BOD and GB meeting, Followed by Cultural activity, Service activity for needy people.

Special BOD and GB Meeting – BOD and GB Meeting conducted at MEI Polytechnic College, Bengaluru in the presence of District Governor Ln. Suresh Ramu. DG explained the Timings: BOD- 11:00 am to 12:00 am & GB- 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. BOD – Meeting called to order and was headed by District Governor and President Ln. K M Manjunatha.

Rainwater harvesting visit by DG: Lions Club District Governor Ln. Suresh Ramu pmjf visited the Rainwater harvesting unit. Work was in progress. He appreciated the permanent project work Rainwater harvesting model under save water. Ln. K M Manjunatha, Ln. Madhura Ashokkumar, Ln. Vanishree, Ln. Rathna Prabha, Ln. Kemparamaiah, Ln. Manjunath Gaviappa were present.

Encouraging Young Girl Entrepreneur: Lions Club of Bangalore Kings encouraged a young girl who has started an organic products business for improving health benefits. She displayed her product in the DG Visit function and explained about her business. Lions club of Bangalore Kings encouraged her for her startup idea. The girl was very happy and started selling her product for Lion members and college staff.

Encouraging Mentally Retarded Children: Lions Club of Bangalore Kings encouraged mentally retarded students and gave a chance for them to dance in the DG Visit program. Also donated Rs. 3000 for the children. All three mentally retarded children were happy in performing in front of District Governor.
